Liasa, a silicon metal producer, automated its Document Management processes with a solution by SoftExpert, a provider of software and services for automation and improvement of business processes, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
With more than 20 industrial patents granted and registered, the company has headquarters in Pirapora (MG), with more than 570 collaborators and four silicon metal furnaces. About 85% of this production volume is for the foreign market, mainly Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
According to John Vaine Lincoln Cabral, the company's IT manager, Liasa reduced the time needed to perform operations due to the accuracy of the controls. "We have observed greater user satisfaction, risk mitigation and easier execution in audit processes", Cabral explains.
