Adami S.A., among the 1,000 largest in Brasil.The company has 2,000 collaborators, with business units in the Chemical-Mechanical Paste, Forestry, Timber, Paper, Packaging and Electrical Energy sectors.
Adami S.A., a company active in multiple sectors including pulp and paper, reforestation, sawmill, energy, and transportation, was facing a growing challenge: consolidating corporate governance based on reliable, real-time indicators.
According to Luciano Rossete, Adami’s IT Manager, the executive board hired a specialized consulting firm to develop a new data-driven governance model. The initiative required a shift in organizational culture and the adoption of technological tools to enable a more dynamic, collaborative, and strategic management approach.
Following that decision, the Planning and IT departments joined forces to find a robust solution capable of integrating the company’s various departments and automating the management of indicators across all business units.
To reach this new level of management, the company invested in the SoftExpert Suite – an all-in-one platform. Today, the solution is used by executives, managers, supervisors, and analysts across all seven business units, promoting a strong data culture and decision-making based on accurate, up-to-date information.
According to Rossete, the benefits were noticeable within the first few months of implementation. “With SoftExpert’s solution, we automated all indicators and made them accessible to decision-makers across the company. It took us two months to migrate all indicators, which were previously scattered across spreadsheets, into the platform and begin tracking them alongside our goals. It was a fully automated process that engaged the entire company,” he explains.
The automation and standardization of information not only increased data reliability but also freed managers from repetitive operational tasks. “Now, with SoftExpert, our managers have more time to focus on strategic activities. For instance, management meetings no longer rely on spreadsheets – they’re now fully based on the platform’s indicator portal,” he adds.
Paulo Roberto Bacchmi, Planning Manager, also highlights gains in agility and security: “With this solution, our processes have become faster and more streamlined. Data is integrated with other key systems, such as our ERP, which enhances budget management and KPI tracking. This has significantly improved our performance and allowed for more standardized and decentralized management.”
