Currently, organizations are seeking to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage in the knowledge management area and also in the competence management area.
Despite the great diversity about Knowledge Management and Competence Management, these approaches have some points in common and some particularities that need to be better understood.
The objective of this whiter paper is to analyze similarities and differences between knowledge management and competence management, allowing a better understanding of the possible connection between these two areas.
