SoftExpert and SGS establish a partnership to promote the modernization of corporate compliance

SoftExpert and SGS

SoftExpert and SGS have partnered to strengthen the modernization of quality infrastructure, focusing on accelerating Industry 4.0 and leading this transition in the market. The alliance between the companies anticipates that, by combining their client portfolios, the partnership could impact over 5,000 organizations, achieve 100% revenue growth for SoftExpert, and capture a 10% market share over the next three years.

Information dispersion and low visibility of operational processes are the motivation for this partnership. According to PwC's 2025 Global Compliance Survey, 63% of executives confirm that data fragmentation hinders regulatory activities, and 64% point out that technology is beneficial in identifying vulnerabilities and managing risks.

How will it work in practice?

The model offered to the market is Digital Business Assurance (Digital Compliance, Risk & Quality as a Service). SoftExpert will be responsible for the technological platform that serves as the digital foundation of the model, while SGS will handle independent auditing and provide technical-regulatory expertise.

The commercial viability of the partnership lies in the cross-selling potential between the two companies. SoftExpert brings its presence in over 50 countries, serving 3,000 accounts and more than 3 million users, while SGS offers a global network of over 2,600 offices and laboratories across 115 countries. Furthermore, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Quality, Risk, and Compliance Management software markets show significant growth potential, generating approximately US$ 260.24 billion and US$ 15.06 billion, respectively.

Business sustainability

The goal is to integrate systems and processes to make compliance a strategic tool, improving decision-making, risk management, and corporate competitiveness. "The digital transformation of Quality Infrastructure represents an urgent opportunity for organizations to convert regulatory compliance into sources of intelligence, trust, and competitiveness," commented Vanda Nunez, Regional Head of Business Assurance at SGS.

The combination of SoftExpert's platform with SGS's technical and regulatory expertise seeks to reduce inefficiencies in industries and supply chains. "We are taking compliance off paper to allow companies to scale their global operations with data-driven decisions, rather than guesswork," stated Ricardo Lepper, President of SoftExpert.

According to Alexandre Bernardes, Global Strategic Alliances Director at SoftExpert, the partnership connects industrial planning to operational execution, integrating quality and compliance into the daily processes of companies. "The alliance translates the industrial plan into daily quality and compliance operations—from metrology to market surveillance—and SoftExpert's platform allows companies to execute digitally to transform each pillar of the quality infrastructure into a competitive advantage, scaling the national industry and generating value for society."

A joint agenda in Latin America will be promoted as part of this collaboration, focusing on executive forums and technical content to support organizations in transitioning from fragmented systems to data-driven, integrated management models.
