Project communication is an integral part of your project and, if communications fail, then your project will also fail. Communication management focuses on making sure that stakeholders are understood in terms of their communications needs. It also involves determining what communication outputs will be exchanged over the course of the project (i.e. status updates, minutes of meetings, reports on deliverables etc.). Project managers make careful plans to outline who receives which communications, who is responsible to deliver and respond to communication content, and how and when communications will be delivered.
In this webinar, Shabnam Suri gives a short introduction to project communication management followed by an in depth analysis of the plan communications management process and details about the inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs.
