Challenge
After acquiring a factory in Taboão da Serra (SP) from Swiss pharma company Novartis, the company noticed a need to optimize management of its documents, deviations, change control and other processes related to quality. União Química did not have a document management system in place. However, the Taboão da Serra factory had efficient processes that could be implemented at the other units, but that were very costly since they were not automated.
Solution
In light of this scenario, the company looked for a tool to integrate its management systems with its ERP.
