The Municipal Social Security and Health Care Authority for Civil Servants of Recife (Reciprev) manages the social security system for 29,978 civil servants.

Process digitization and automation
Reciprev's main challenges were structuring the document digitization process and automating manual services, eliminating the use of paper. Therefore, the Authority adhered to a price registration record from a corporate tender in which SoftExpert, through its partnership with Suporte Gerencial, was the winner.
Software for process management
Through SoftExpert's ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and BPM (Business Process Management) solutions, Reciprev automated the pension request process, which is now carried out entirely electronically. The project was led by the Suporte Gerencial team, SoftExpert's commercial partner in Recife. According to Reciprev Internal Control Unit Manager, Juliana Giestosa, the digitization and the activities of process mapping and automation are part of the strategic planning and are further improving the management's corporate governance.
"In addition to the reduction of expenses with toners, office supplies, and electricity - resulting from successive printing and scanning, there is great collaboration with environmental issues, with the reduction of paper and other supplies, as well as a decrease in the use of physical space, requiring fewer archive rooms," she adds.
Integration between the SoftExpert Suite solution and Sinqia systems
Now, civil servants' dependents make pension requests directly on the Reciprev portal, eliminating 100% of physical operations, as well as the use of paper. Regarding the mapping and automation of organizational processes, the Reciprev manager discusses how standardization guarantees both quality and control, allowing management to have complete visibility over the activities in question.
"The more automated a process is, the lower the deviations from the operation tend to be, ensuring greater productivity and contributing to the improvement of overall results," she adds.
Juliana also comments on the possibility of process handling even during periods of quarantine and remote work, thanks to the innovations implemented in the Authority.
