With 25 years in the market, Famap is a leading compounding pharmacy specializing in nutrition in Minas Gerais, serving several states across Brazil and having supported more than 200,000 people.

Discontinuity in corrective and preventive actions

One of the company’s main challenges was the lack of a tool that allowed full tracking of all actions, with clearly defined deadlines. Wander Campos, CEO of Famap, explains that before the implementation of the components, meeting minutes were managed using Excel spreadsheets.

“We faced recurring issues tracking meeting minutes, controlling deadlines for recording information after meetings ended and, most importantly, several actions were never executed and ended up lost among so many files. This created discontinuity in our corrective and preventive actions,” he highlights.


Enhancing corporate governance and process management

The company, which has had its document management automated since 2012 through the SoftExpert Document and Workflow components, recently adopted new modules to strengthen corporate governance and improve process management. The project was led by TNX, a SoftExpert commercial partner. Today, the solution is used across several departments, including Procurement, Quality, Sales, Finance, HR and IT, among others. The tool also helps the pharmaceutical company maintain its qualification seal issued by ONA, the National Accreditation Organization.
