At the Yorozu manufacturing plant in Alabama (USA) the main challenge was to find a way to manage the Quality business processes, using several solutions from different software providers. According to Kenny Reed, Director of Quality Assurance in the plant, the company needed an integrated and comprehensive system to ensure excellence in company processes and products.
“We were having problems tracking quality records and forms for the products we manufacture and assemble. Without automating business processes, our efficiency was not at the level needed to support the company’s growing production volume,” he says.

The unit’s Quality team is also using the components extensively for root cause analysis and problem solving, which keeps all key team members involved and informed.
Another highlight that Kenny points out is the ability to create automated workflows for recording and addressing occurrences, triggered by the Andon production system.
