Termotécnica strengthens quality management and adopts SoftExpert PLM to optimize the product lifecycle
The largest EPS processor in South America expands the use of SoftExpert solutions to reduce costs, ensure reliability, and raise the quality of the production process.
The challenge
Already a user of the SoftExpert solution for quality management, Termotécnica sought to take a step further in its digital journey. The goal was to strengthen control over the entire product lifecycle, improving data reliability, ensuring greater efficiency in validations, and reducing waste throughout the processes.
The solution
The company adopted SoftExpert PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), a solution that centralizes and organizes product information across all lifecycle phases – from development to production. With this, Termotécnica gained:
- Instant access to reliable statistical data during projects;
- Real-time control of execution actions, enabling faster and more assertive decision-making;
- Structured management of documentation and risk analysis, ensuring greater security and standardization in processes;
- Easier strategic planning, with gains in operational efficiency and product quality.
Expected results
“With SoftExpert PLM Suite, we will have instant access to the information needed to enhance the validation phase and reduce costs and waste associated with the process, as we approve items for production based on reliable data,”
says Rodrigo Machado, Quality Manager at Termotécnica.
Machado also highlights that the use of the solution represents strategic and operational gains, increasing the level of reliability, efficiency, and quality throughout the company’s development chain.
According to market research conducted by the Arbedeen Group, organizations that adopt PLM solutions achieve an increase in product revenue (around 19%), a reduction in product costs (around 15%), and a reduction in development costs (around 16%).
“Considering this perspective, our operational results will be optimized and, consequently, we will increase our potential for investment in innovation and product development,” concludes Machado.
