The Challenge
Dealernet faced significant challenges with slow processes and flaws in the system used for time tracking and expense reporting. Furthermore, there was an insufficiency of resources for effective project planning, compromising the agility and control of its internal processes and customer interactions. Dispersed information and difficulties in communication led to rework and low productivity.
The Solution
To overcome these obstacles, Dealernet adopted SoftExpert PPM (Project and Portfolio Management). This modular and scalable solution offers comprehensive project and portfolio management, including project planning, resource scheduling, financial management (project costs and revenues), document management, quality management, portfolio management, risk management, process management, service management, and demand management, among others. To meet the company’s specific needs, the risk management component was replaced by SE Forms, a SoftExpert product for form management. The solution, which is 100% web-based and operates with workflow, provided automated and integrated management of processes and projects.
