About the content

A standard for innovation can seem limiting, can't it? Even more so for innovation that advocates creativity and “outside the box” thinking. However, for innovation to occur effectively, there are processes and effective ways to innovate, and the most successful companies in innovation are structured and organized for this purpose - not only with methods and processes, but with human and organizational factors as well.
ISO 56000 takes all these factors into account. It provides a common framework for all organizations (regardless of their type, industry or size) to implement, maintain and continually improve an innovation management system. It provides general guidelines for all types of innovation (such as products, services, processes, business models and approaches, from incremental to radical) and all types of approaches (such as internal and open innovation).
In this webinar, Rick Fernandez introduces the ISO 56000 series of Innovation Management standards, and discusses how the standard can help to be a source of information for innovation management and help organizations achieve their innovation goals.
