Company expects to achieve its best annual rate in the last decade, reaching revenue growth of 30% in relation to 2020
SoftExpert, a global supplier of solutions for integrated management of compliance, innovation and Digital Transformation, took in 26% more revenue in the first four months of 2021 compared to the same period the year prior. This growth was driven by the globalization strategy in place at the company, which for the first time had more international market customers than Brazilian ones, accounting for 51% of all customers - the company exports to 40 countries.
Ricardo Lepper, SoftExpert's CEO, says that an economy on the upswing, especially in the Americas, had a direct impact on business opportunities in the first four months of the year. "We have reached a new milestone in our history, where 40% of business volume came from the international market, with exports expected to continue growing, doubling foreign operating revenue in 2021,” says Lepper.
This means that SoftExpert is accelerating the maturity of its operations in every country where it is active and, consequently, the results gained. "We are focused on standardizing our units and governance and management model, at headquarters as well as in our ten subsidiaries. With this, the processes, practices and results that have already matured at our company in Brazil are being revised and then replicated to all of our branches," he adds.
This upward trend was also intensified with the acceleration of Digital Transformation at organizations. According to Lepper, if on the one hand sectors that were not as impacted by the pandemic are seizing the moment to invest in innovative projects, other segments that suffered significant impacts were forced to lower costs and began to cut the number of systems and unify contracts, keeping a minimum of suppliers who are able to handle more projects with fewer licensing, maintenance and infrastructure costs.
"Thanks to SoftExpert's multi-use platform, which makes building No-Code applications feasible, we are able to serve a wide range of departments and demands. So our customers are making the most out of reusing licenses already purchased for different purposes, turning SoftExpert into their strategic technology partner," he says.
For 2021, we expect above average growth, following a strategy focused on five pillars: verticalization, specialization, consolidation, massification and globalization. "We are going through a unique experience, where companies in the same segment where we operate and a diverse portfolio of customers and verticals are coming to us and challenging us to act as their strategic and even global partner," he says in closing.
