The strategic alliance, already in operation in Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic, is expected to yield five new major customers in the first year
SoftExpert, software and services provider for automation and business process improvement, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, has recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with Baker Tilly to resell its solutions in Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. The partnership is expected to yield five new major customers in its first year of operation.
Baker Tilly is a world leader in auditing, management and tax consulting and outsourcing, with operations in approximately 150 countries. SoftExpert International Business Director Kelson Lunardelli believes that the partnership will boost the level of exports of their products, as well as expand their customer base in Latin America, where the company focuses on service solutions for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
"This alliance with one of the world's leading players in the Finance sector will accelerate SoftExpert’s consolidation in the international market. In addition, the partnership with Baker Tilly increases the credibility of our GRC solution, given the high level of quality and security that the company demands in its operations," says Lunardelli.
According to Ricardo Vásquez Bernal, GRC director for Latin America at Baker Tilly, the partnership increases their capacity to implement and execute operational projects in a number of GRC areas.
"We will have significant quality gains in the areas of risk management, control, strategic alignment, process architecture, meeting compliance and internal audits thanks to the excellent functional design of SoftExpert Excellence Suite. We believe that the integration between SoftExpert solutions and Baker Tilly's methodologies and models enhances the diagnosis, design and definition of GRC projects, allowing us to offer high value propositions to customers interested in optimizing their business," Vásquez affirms.
The operation, which is expected to yield five new major customers in the first year, has already produced its first contract. Cotemar, a company specializing in integrated solutions for offshore oil exploration and production, has acquired SoftExpert GRC, a solution to support governance, risk management and compliance processes in their organization.
Internacional Expansion
Recently, the company signed a partnership agreement with Saudi Arabian Sela Digital Services to begin operations in the Middle East. In addition, SoftExpert expanded its infrastructure in the European continent with an infrastructure partnership for Cloud Computing and Hosting with Amazon Web Services. In Colombia, the partnership with Ricoh Colombia has already completed one year of its operation.
At the beginning of this year, SoftExpert opened an office in Mexico, where it already served important companies, including Aeromexico. The new office has already acquired customers with a global presence, such as Givaudan's Mexican operation, the world's largest producer in the perfumes and fragrances market, Coppel, one of Latin America's largest department store chains, and Prodemex, one of the leading companies in the construction and infrastructure sector in the country. To manage their Mexican office, SoftExpert brought in Roberto Carlos Ferrer, a professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, with experience in companies like Oracle (Mexico) and Ricoh (Colombia). In the United States, SoftExpert already serves customers such as the multinational companies Smiths Medical, Yorozu Automotive, Fitesa and Dekalb.
