The plan is implement the tool as well at their Cyprus unit
Vodafone, one of the world’s largest telecommunications groups, acquired the Excellence Suite solution for management excellence from SoftExpert, a global provider of software and services for automating and improving business processes, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. The project was implemented at the Turkish unit under the leadership of the firm Süreç Yönetim Merkezi, SoftExpert’s business partner.
Created in 1982, Vodafone is an English multinational mobile operator with headquarters in London. It currently operates in 25 countries and has partner networks in another 42 countries. The Turkish unit implemented all the solution modules to improve the efficiency of information flow and document and indicator management.
According to the head of the Quality and Technology Management Department, the company needed a tool to monitor Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes, such as audits, incidents, actions, risks and documents; in addition to improving the flow of processes, risks and KPIs. “We chose SoftExpert because their software is easy to install and, in the long run, module training for our consultants will not be necessary, which makes the solution very attractive with a great cost-benefit ratio,” claims the head of Quality and Technology Management.
The system was initially implemented at the Technology Department to monitor GRC processes and, over time, it has been extended to other departments, such as Human Resources. Some features of the tool, such as document management, are already being used across the company. The plan is to implement the tool as well at the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus unit.
