The challenge of a corporate governance is related to loss of steam and strategic direction, mostly because implementers are often looking for an easy “copy-paste” solution that simply doesn’t work.

Even though frameworks are designed to be flexible and non-prescriptive, many governance practices are often difficult to customize to meet the specific needs of an enterprise. It is often hard to align them with the technological and content needs of an organization.
