SoftExpert, a software and services provider for enterprise-wide business processes automation, improvement, compliance management and corporate governance, through its business partner, Exeq, has just signed on four new major clients in Portugal.
Luís Simões, the leading logistics operator among Iberian countries in the road transport market, adopted SoftExpert GRC, SoftExpert’s governance, risk and regulation management solution. The objective was to implement a tool to manage the demands related to their Integrated Management System, which was decentralized and handled by various applications, as well as supporting the company’s growth in areas related to governance, risk and regulations.
The Bosch thermotechnology unit in Cacia – Aveiro adopted the business process management solution, SoftExpert BPM. SoftExpert satisfied Bosch’s stringent technological and safety requirements, adhering to the operational requirements of the multinational, one of the largest manufacturers of automotive components in the world.
Medway, a subsidiary of MSC – Mediterranean Shipping Company, implemented the SoftExpert Excellence Suite, a business platform for process automation and improvement, regulatory compliance and management excellence. The Portuguese private railway operator, specialized in freight transport, will use SoftExpert’s complete solution to manage its quality, safety and corporate governance processes. The project will include an app that synchronizes all legal documentation for train operators using Android tablets. The mobile system will provide total availability and immediate updating, even when the equipment is off-line.
The entire transition to the new IATF 16949 standard (quality management system for the automotive industry) by Flex 2000, a manufacturer of foam bases and structures, will be supported by SoftExpert Excellence Suite. The modules have already been implemented for Performance Management, Action Plan Management, Document and Records Management, Non-Conformity and Complaints, Audit Management and Analytics, as well as for mapping main Processes. Still to be implemented are the Competency Mapping and Evaluation module and the SoftExpert PLM solution for Product Lifecycle Management.
In 2017, SoftExpert’s revenues abroad grew by 56% and their global turnover exceeded R$ 70 million. The company closed the year with 69 new clients abroad.
“The expertise we have acquired in servicing multinationals from a wide range of industries in more than 30 countries has resulted, over the last five years, in an average organic growth of approximately 30% per year,” Lepper explains.
The company opened an office in the United States, where it has clients like the American unit of the Japanese multinational Yorozu Automotive, and also in Mexico. Among SoftExpert’s major clients in Mexico are Coppel, one of the largest department store chains in Latin America, and Prodemex, one of the leading companies in the construction and infrastructure sector. SoftExpert signed twenty-four international partnerships in Latin America, including important partnerships with Ricoh and Baker Tilly in the area of strategic operations.
