Città di Lugano invests in solution to enhance the internal auditing programs
Aiming at enhancing their internal auditing processes and making a more precise assessment of the performance of their employees, Città di Lugano, a Swiss commune (municipality) located in the canton of Tessino and considered to be the third most important financial and tourist center in Switzerland, invested in SoftExpert to focus on enterprise quality management. In the words of Ceppi Giampiero, the Internal Audit Manager of the company, the choice was made because the solution allows and provides the optimization of the internal audit activities, ensuring the quality of the procedures to be applied.
The tool is being used by the internal audit employees, who have already observed improvements in operational management, as for example in the annual programming of audit activities and the control of those which have already been made. “The software creates a system of storage of activities already carried out and methodologies applied.
