SE Competence enables you to elevate the strategic value of your staff, empowering everyone with the information they need to measure and maximize human contribution at all levels in the organization.

SE Competence helps corporations manage the career development of their personnel and helps develop the compliance management skills necessary to achieve its goals. Analysis tools evaluate training effectiveness and manage training costs incurred through internal and external training, scheduling of training classrooms, audio equipment, and etc.

By automating the verification of all personnel training needs and linking them to a notification mechanism, SE Competence ensures the execution of any scheduled training. In the case of the hiring of new employees or changes in the job functions, SE Competence checks the unfulfilled requirements and their specific qualification training needs.

In addition, it applies a method for periodical evaluation of required skills for human resources, taking certain aspects into consideration, such as work experience, qualifications, and the necessary skills for optimal performance. Management effectiveness indicators are also available to show the adequacy level throughout the company, pointing out necessary qualifications throughout all company departments.

SE Competence provides necessary controls to meet international regulations and standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 10015, ISO/TS 16949, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 22000 [HACCP], ISO 20000 [ITIL], and others which refer to training planning and control.

  • Defines job descriptions, positions within all company's departments, and identifying specified required responsibilities, authorities, and capabilities.

  • Provides a database of educational institutes and identifies specific competency courses.
  • Allows for attachment of any digitalized documents such as resumes, training certificates, school diplomas, evaluations, and more.
  • Schedules training sessions on user-defined calendars - weekly, monthly, or annually - with automatic display of training needs that are pending in a certain period of time.

  • Displays all scheduled training sessions through timesheets, spreadsheets, and Gantt charts, then groups results based on employee, specific department, or the entire company.
  • Provides tools for all kinds of training evaluation.
  • Performs effectiveness verification on trainings (whenever applicable), recording the method of evaluation and objective evidences to prove the effectiveness.
  • Provides catalogs of qualification courses containing objectives, contents, pre-requisites, capabilities, and more.
  • Identifies in-company training instructors with proven qualifications.
  • Provides forms so employees can request training and automatically forwards requests to the specific department for training approval.
  • Provides application forms for open access trainings and controls reservation availability, as well as the application listing.
  • Provides user-defined qualification levels for improved competency and operational training evaluation.
  • Verifies and notifies any required competencies or skills necessary for employees to carry out job positions within the company.
  • Generates company organizational charts based on departments and required job positions.
  • Evaluates employee competencies and skills based on personalized evaluation forms.
  • Verifies all pending trainings and evaluations notifying the employee or department.
  • Approves planned trainings through an electronic signature mechanism.
  • Updates company talent database and displays employees with approved training and/or skills.
  • Keeps educational records and data on certification for every staff member, including graduation date and other supplementary degrees, then sets dates for future training sessions.
  • Prints certificates for participants who have concluded any in-house training.
  • Schedules classroom usage, audio-visual resources, and instructors' timesheets. The system manages any schedule conflicts and monitors all training hours allocated.
  • Retrieves historical data on performed trainings from several search fields, such as employee, department, course, period, effectiveness, and more.
  • Displays information on trainings and employee's qualifications on spreadsheets or charts (pareto, pie, bar, and more), using several parameters such as employee, department, course, skills, period, and more.
  • Generates "planned vs. actual" comparative results on trainings. Results can be grouped by number of trainings or participants, working hours, training costs, deadline accomplishment, and more.
  • Calculates the employees' qualification levels based on their job performance, then displays summarized results in charts based on employee, job position, or department.
  • Features a multi-user environment with access rights and passwords.
  • Features client/server integration with database management systems such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, Informix, Access, and others.
  • Provides simultaneous access by multiple users.
  • Sends users of pending tasks automatic notification through any electronic mail such as Outlook, CC-Mail, Netscape, Eudora, and others.
  • Uses electronic signature mechanism.
  • Generates customized views, charts, and reports using Crystal Reports from Seagate Software.
